As a brand-new flagship product after XTOMP, Ampero heart pounding amp modeling and uber quality effects are powered by the new-gen CDCM HD (Comprehensive Dynamic Circuit Modeling High Definition) and F.I.R.E. (Field Impulse Response Enhancement) system, bringing you the absolute best the world has to offer. Packaged in a cool, thin case with a 4-inch hi-def color touch screen, Ampero delivers all the real sounds of rock past and present.

Advanced CDCM HD and F.I.R.E. Modeling Systems

Driving Ampero is Hotone’s innovative CDCM HD (Comprehensive Dynamic Circuit Modeling High Definition) and F.I.R.E. (Field Impulse Response Enhancement) system. Built on Hotone’s powerful XTOMP platform, acclaimed Binary series, and breakthrough VStomp Amp virtual plugin, the new-gen CDCM HD & F.I.R.E. system showcases Hotone’s new high-shelf circuit modeling methods.

Mainstream modeling methods are generally based on static state circuitry modeling or “black box” theory, which just “come close” to the modeled sound. CDCM HD & F.I.R.E. employs a complex system based on dynamic feature modeling. In this matrix, the technology “rebuilds” the entire circuitry using modeled electronic components, resulting in a tone that is vivid, accurate and expressive. More than that, the new system enhances the relationship between amps and PA systems, delivering a realistic feel and response you’ve never before experienced on digital gear.

Armory

Ampero can handle up to 9 effect modules simultaneously with its flexible FX1, FX2 and FX3/MOD effect modules for the best authentic stereo effect processing experience. Ampero shares the same growing modeling/original effects library as our all-powerful XTOMP pedal with even more goods:

  • 244 effects
  • CDCM HD & F.I.R.E. modeling effects including:
  • 64 amp models
  • 60 cab models
  • 100+ legendary pedal models
  • Next-gen mic position and microphone type simulations
  • User custom IR loader with 3rd party IR support
  • 50+ Hotone original effects (incl. high quality drive/dynamic/filter/mod/delay/reverb models and more)

Authentic Acoustic Sound

No need to carry an extra acoustic anymore! Ampero comes with advanced “black tech” acoustic simulation algorithms. Used along with built-in acoustic IRs and acoustic simulation presets, you can easily transform your electric instruments into miked up acoustic masterpieces: steel string, nylon string, resonator, even ukulele!

Not Just Electric Instruments

Ampero employs a special design input mode selector that is designed not only for electric instruments, but also for acoustic players and even keyboard players! Simply connect your instrument to the input jack, select a mode for your instrument, pick a dedicated electric/acoustic/FX preset and you’re ready to roll.

Interface

Ampero is designed to be simple and intuitive so you can just start playing. The straight-forward user interface features a 4-inch 800 x 480 touch screen with dynamic color display and three quick access knobs for hands-on parameter tweaking. Ampero is incredibly easy to set up and program.

I/O

Ampero pulls together every I/O port you need for basically any performance scenario:

  • 1/4” (6.35mm) guitar input with input mode switch, ready for electric, acoustic and even keyboard instruments
  • 1/8” (3.5mm) aux in
  • A pair of 1/4” (6.35mm) stereo line outputs
  • A pair of XLR stereo outputs with ground lift switch

Delay

A delay pedal records your signal and plays it back after a set time, creating echoes that can range from tight, slapback repeats to long, atmospheric trails. It’s one of the most versatile effects, used to thicken tones, add rhythmic depth, or build spacious, ambient layers. Analogue delays offer warm, decaying repeats that blend naturally with your tone, while digital units provide pristine echoes with precise control over time, feedback, and mix levels.

From classic rockabilly and tape-style echoes to modern looping and shimmer effects, delay pedals have become essential tools for shaping sound. They can make solos soar, rhythms pulse, or transform simple chord progressions into cinematic textures. Whether used subtly to add dimension or boldly to create soundscapes, a good delay pedal can completely redefine the feel and atmosphere of your music.

Expression

Expression pedals allow real-time control over specific parameters on compatible guitar pedals, such as volume, delay time, modulation depth, or filter sweep. Used with an expression input, they let players shape effects dynamically with their foot, adding movement and performance control that cannot be achieved with fixed knob settings.

MIDI

MIDI pedals use the Musical Instrument Digital Interface standard to communicate with other guitar pedals, effects units, and hardware. They allow control over presets, parameters, and switching across multiple devices from a single controller. MIDI integration makes it possible to build complex, synchronised pedal setups while keeping control simple and consistent.

Multi-FX

Multi-FX pedals combine multiple guitar effects into a single unit, offering access to drive, modulation, delay, reverb, and utility effects in one device. They often include presets, flexible routing, and extensive control options, making it easy to switch between different sounds quickly. Multi-FX pedals are popular with players who want versatility, portability, and consistent tones without using a large pedalboard.

New

This is brand new, fresh in, and a UK warranty is included. New Gear always comes from trusted UK music retailers.

Reverb

A reverb pedal is like the rich sauce that ties every flavour on the plate into one smooth experience. It adds depth, warmth, and atmosphere — the sonic equivalent of a perfectly reduced glaze that lingers on the tongue. Whether you’re after the subtle ambience of a cosy café (spring or plate reverb) or the grand echoes of a cathedral (hall or shimmer reverb), this is where your tone breathes and expands. A touch of reverb can turn a dry sound into something lush and inviting — but pour on too much, and it’s all you can taste. Used with finesse, it’s the finishing touch that transforms your tone from plain to unforgettable.
