Switcher

Switcher products route effects, instruments or amplifier channels from a central controller. They may provide true-bypass loops, buffers, presets, MIDI, relay outputs, parallel paths or amp-channel control. Check the number and type of loops, send and return levels, stereo support, loop order, control messages and power supply before planning a board around one. A switcher can simplify performance, but incompatible levels or routing can introduce noise or unexpected loading.
