Cab Sim

Cab Sim is shorthand for cabinet simulation: speaker and cabinet filtering applied to a direct signal so it behaves more like a miked guitar cabinet. It can make a preamp or amp pedal usable into an interface, mixer, PA or headphones, but the correct routing varies. Check whether the cab stage can be bypassed, whether impulse responses are supported, which outputs carry the filter and how the unit should connect to a real power amp or cabinet.
