Featuring three distinct modes this pedal ensures ultimate versatility offering the choice between the dynamically sensitive Up and Down modes and the Sample and Hold setting which through a random voltage controls the filter for an unprecedented and unpredictable level of tonal variety. With complete control youll be able to achieve huge sweeps to cutting lead tones for a range of wacky sounds. . Available from Just Pedals for only £ 196.75 The Spatial Delivery Spatial Delivery has 3 toggled modes; Up Sweep Down Sweep and Sample & Hold. Equipped with range resonance and filter dials you can dial in huge emphasized filter sweeps in the Up and Down modes. The range dial in combination with how hard you pick controls the sensitivity and attack time of the envelope and thus the size of the frequency sweep. Switching to a higher range setting and a harder pick attack results in a faster reaction time with a higher frequency sweep and vice versa. Dial down the controls a touch then add your favourite overdrive or fuzz following the Spatial Delivery and youll have a seriously resonant cut-through-the-mix lead tone. Push the controls back up and youre a bedroom rock god. In Sample and Hold mode the filter is controlled by random voltage while the range control adjusts the speed. Envelope
An envelope filter effect pedal is a type of audio effect that alters the sound of an instrument based on the dynamics of the player’s performance, specifically how loudly or softly they play. It works by using an envelope follower, which tracks the amplitude (volume level) of the signal and controls a filter that modulates the sound accordingly. The result is a distinctive sound where the filter’s cutoff frequency is swept up or down in reaction to the player’s attack, creating a “wah” or “quack” effect.
Envelope filters are commonly used in genres like funk, electronic, and rock to add a dynamic, expressive quality to the sound. The pedal can produce a range of tones, from subtle, smooth sweeps to more pronounced, percussive filter effects. The effect is most noticeable when playing with strong dynamics, such as heavy picking or fingerstyle playing, as the intensity of the filter changes in real-time. Some popular envelope filter pedals include the Electro-Harmonix Q-Tron and the MXR Envelope Filter, both of which allow players to shape the effect’s response with adjustable sensitivity, attack, and filter range for greater tonal control.
