What’s better than one Durple? Get supersized Danish tones with the Double Durple, a dual overdrive pedal designed by Tone City in collaboration with our very own Pete Honoré! But don’t be fooled; this is way more than just two Durples stitched together…

The Double Durple builds on the bestselling Durple formula, delivering a double pedal that takes your tone from crisp boost to stacked crunchy saturation in a couple of stomps. Enjoy classic low-mid gain crunch, flexible EQ customisation, and harmonic detail in a double-stompbox format, voiced by Pete himself to embody his crispy blues-meets-rock tones.

Key Features

  • Designed with Pete Honoré – Pete worked with Tone City to build a dual drive that delivers his custom blend of versatility & tonal bite.
  • Single or stacked drives – Sometimes you want straight-up Durple crunch, sometimes you want more, sometimes you want less. Have it all in one!
  • Quick tone customisation – Make the Double Durple suit your rig with individual gain, volume, and tone controls, with a couple of extra tweakable features for each side.
  • True bypass – Preserve the purity of your signal, whether it’s a full board or the only thing between your guitar & amp with true bypass circuitry.

Go Double Danish

This punchy pedal essentially replicates Pete’s favourite setup of a Tone City Blues Man into his original Durple pedal. You get two discrete overdrive circuits that can be used independently or together. The ‘Durple’ side is based on the original Durple pedal, emphasising low to mid-gain with fairly flexible EQ. The ‘Double’ side is actually a modded version of the Tone City Blues Man, giving you classic lower gain, fat boosted drive tones.

Sculpt Your Saturation

The Durple channel comes with the same Tone and Mid controls as its mini-pedal predecessor, great for on-the-fly tonal changes to work with your rig. The Double channel alternatively introduces a Smooth/Bright switch. The Smooth option opts for velvety saturation that’s great for sitting in a mix or tapering high-output pickups, while the Bright setting is ideal for making those leads, riffs, and funky unison lines really stand out. Your choice!
