This compact multi-effects device is packed full of modern features, including 194 effects models, which comprise of overdrive, preamp simulators, cabinet models, delays, reverbs, modulation effects and more.

Explore the limitless flexibility with the use of MNRS sample files, as well as third-party IR sample files. Essentially, this means that users can download additional tonal emulations and effects from the MOOER Cloud and third-party sources to the device, which they can then save across 80 preset slots.

Key Features

  • 80 Saveable Slots – 80 preset slots for storing downloaded MNRS and third-party sample files.
  • Share User Created Tones – Compatibility with the MOOER Cloud tone-sharing platform.

  • Built-In Tuner – High-precision and customizable tuner module.
  • Multi-Function Footswitches – Use the 2 multi-function footswitches to select and navigate your chosen settings.
  • Intuitive Digital Display – The 1.28-inch touchscreen interface/LED digital display clearly displays your current workflow.
  • MIDI Control – There is even a MIDI jack built into the device, enabling users to connect their MIDI controllers to extend the control functions, and the MOOER F4 wireless footswitch support is also supported.

Use the intuitive touchscreen design, facilitating easy browsing through the device’s banks of presets. The two footswitches can also be used to switch between presets in each bank.

Intelligent Looping & Drum Machine Functionality

The looping module has a massive 80-minute capacity, in addition to 10 recording save slots to ensure that any looping creations can be kept for future use in performances. Similar to past looper modules in MOOER’s products, users are also free to overdub their recordings and even undo or redo their overdubs, offering a lot of real-time flexibility for creating loop-based musical structures.

As if the addition of a looper wasn’t enough, this feature is also synchronizable with an internal drum machine. Upon commencing recording, the drum machine can produce four initial beats to serve as a count-in cue, and of course, this can be combined with the device’s tap-tempo control for dynamic use. Best of all, this feature can also be applied to modulation and delay effects, ensuring that they work perfectly in time with any performance.

Bluetooth Support

Guitarists can even leverage the M2’s built-in Bluetooth input support, allowing them to practice, jam, and even produce looped musical structures over their favourite backing tracks, band prototypes, and musical pieces.

Dual Channel Stereo Outputs & Headphone Connectivity

The dual-channel stereo output is perfect for stereo delay and modulation effects. The M2 also supports headphone output for those who wish to practice in silence, and even OTG recording, which means that guitarists can record their creations directly to their smartphone whilst on the go.

Play On The Go

The M2 is fitted with a built-in rechargeable lithium battery with a battery life of up to 6 hours. Ultimately, this means that even a lack of local power sources won’t get in the way of rehearsals and live performances. Combined with the pedal’s lightweight and small build, it truly is an ideal addition to the pedalboard of any traveling musician.

Delay

A delay pedal records your signal and plays it back after a set time, creating echoes that can range from tight, slapback repeats to long, atmospheric trails. It’s one of the most versatile effects, used to thicken tones, add rhythmic depth, or build spacious, ambient layers. Analogue delays offer warm, decaying repeats that blend naturally with your tone, while digital units provide pristine echoes with precise control over time, feedback, and mix levels.

From classic rockabilly and tape-style echoes to modern looping and shimmer effects, delay pedals have become essential tools for shaping sound. They can make solos soar, rhythms pulse, or transform simple chord progressions into cinematic textures. Whether used subtly to add dimension or boldly to create soundscapes, a good delay pedal can completely redefine the feel and atmosphere of your music.

Looper

A looper pedal records and plays back sections of your playing, allowing you to layer sounds and build full arrangements on your own. By capturing short or long phrases, you can create rhythm parts, harmonies, or entire backing tracks in real time. Most loopers offer basic controls for record, overdub, and playback, while advanced models include multiple tracks, tempo syncing, and memory storage for saving your loops.

Loopers are invaluable for practice, songwriting, and live performance. They help you explore ideas, refine timing, and experiment with textures — from solo acoustic performances to complex ambient soundscapes. A good looper pedal becomes an instrument in itself, letting you improvise, arrange, and perform with creativity and freedom, turning one guitar into an entire band.

MIDI

MIDI pedals use the Musical Instrument Digital Interface standard to communicate with other guitar pedals, effects units, and hardware. They allow control over presets, parameters, and switching across multiple devices from a single controller. MIDI integration makes it possible to build complex, synchronised pedal setups while keeping control simple and consistent.

Multi-FX

Multi-FX pedals combine multiple guitar effects into a single unit, offering access to drive, modulation, delay, reverb, and utility effects in one device. They often include presets, flexible routing, and extensive control options, making it easy to switch between different sounds quickly. Multi-FX pedals are popular with players who want versatility, portability, and consistent tones without using a large pedalboard.

Overdrive

Like a golden layer of melted cheese — warm, gooey, and just put it all over. It adds just the right amount of richness and grit, turning a clean signal into something smooth and savoury. Designed to mimic the natural breakup of a tube amp pushed to its sweet spot, overdrive delivers the flavour of classic rock and blues in every bite. From creamy mid-gain warmth to crisp edge-of-breakup sparkle, it’s the comfort food of guitar tone — simple, satisfying, and endlessly versatile. Whether it’s a mild crunch or a full-bodied roar, overdrive is where good taste begins.

Preamp

A preamp pedal shapes and boosts your guitar’s signal before it reaches your amp or recording interface, giving you control over tone, gain, and headroom. It acts as the first stage of amplification, adding warmth, clarity, and character while preparing your signal for the next part of the chain. Some preamps emulate the response of classic valve circuits, while others offer clean, transparent tone shaping ideal for acoustic instruments or direct recording setups.

Used on its own, a preamp pedal can serve as the foundation of your tone, providing a consistent core sound wherever you play. When combined with other effects, it enhances dynamics and helps each pedal sound more defined and natural. Whether you’re looking to push your amp harder, bring life to a dull signal, or refine your sound for the studio, a good preamp pedal adds presence, punch, and musicality to any rig.

Tuner

A tuner is an essential pedal or device that helps keep your guitar perfectly in tune by detecting the pitch of each string and showing whether it’s sharp or flat. Tuners come in many forms, from simple clip-on units to advanced pedalboard models with bright displays and muting options for silent tuning on stage. They ensure accurate pitch, stable tone, and a more professional sound, making them one of the most important tools for any guitarist.
