The ZVEX Loop Gate is a pedal like no other. It adds a new dimension to your other stompbox sounds, as well as throwing a few neat tricks of its own into to the mix.

Sound

Feed your fuzzes, delays and any pedal you really like into the send/return signal. The Loop Gate provides a loop switch with a built-in “perfect” audio gate that lets you enter and exit the signal path at will, activating effects in weird and wonderful ways.

There are plenty of ways to shape your sound using release and sensitivity controls, while the gate/mix blends the effects to create deep tones. Chop mode is where the Loop Gate gets involved with some fun of its own, introducing a glitchy tremolo.

Also built into the Loop Gate is a handy buffer to bring your signal up to full strength.

Build Quality

ZVEX are known to many as the first boutique stompbox builders. Their eye for detail and tone is almost unparalleled. You can be sure of quality construction and glorious tone when you choose ZVEX.

ZVEX Effects

ZVEX Effects is a boutique pedal company known for its creative and innovative guitar effects. Founded by Zachary Vex in the mid-1990s, the company has built a reputation for producing unique, hand-crafted pedals that stand out both in sound and design. ZVEX pedals are known for their high-quality construction, distinctive artwork, and the ability to produce unconventional, experimental sounds that appeal to musicians seeking to push the boundaries of traditional effects.

The ZVEX lineup includes a variety of pedals, from overdrives and fuzzes to delays and modulation effects. The company’s *Fuzz Factory*, in particular, has become an iconic pedal, loved for its wildly variable fuzz tones that can range from smooth to chaotic and glitchy. ZVEX pedals are often praised for their versatility, allowing musicians to explore everything from classic tones to more avant-garde, experimental soundscapes. With a focus on quality, innovation, and artistic expression, ZVEX Effects continues to be a top choice for musicians looking for pedals that offer both unique character and exceptional performance.

Buffer

A buffer pedal protects your tone when your signal has a long journey to travel. As cables and multiple pedals build up, high frequencies can fade and your sound can lose clarity. A buffer restores strength and sparkle, keeping your signal full, punchy, and consistent from guitar to amp.

Use a buffer at the start of a large pedalboard, after vintage true-bypass chains, or anywhere your tone feels dull or weak. It doesn’t add gain or colour — it simply preserves what you already have, making sure your core sound arrives exactly as it should.

New

This is brand new, fresh in, and a UK warranty is included. New Gear always comes from trusted UK music retailers.

noise gate

A noise gate pedal keeps your rig tight and controlled by cutting unwanted hiss and hum when you’re not playing. High-gain setups, stacked pedals, and long signal chains can introduce background noise — a noise gate steps in to silence it cleanly, letting your riffs start and stop with precision.

Use it to sharpen heavy rhythm parts, tame buzzing single-coils, or clean up complex pedalboards without sacrificing sustain. Dial it subtle for transparent control or tighter for that sharp, percussive stop-start effect — either way, it keeps your sound focused and professional.

Tremolo

A tremolo pedal modulates the volume of your guitar signal up and down in a rhythmic pattern, creating a pulsing or wavering effect that can sound vintage and hypnotic or sharp and choppy depending on the settings. It’s one of the oldest effects in guitar history, famously used on classic amps from the 1950s and ’60s.

Most tremolo pedals let you control the speed, depth, and wave shape, allowing you to go from smooth, subtle swells to intense stuttering tones. It’s a simple but expressive effect that adds movement and character to your sound.
