Description

The Tone City All Spark Boost Pedal is currently retailing at £45 and it is in stock. Available to be delivered to you by post direct (some charge may apply). The team at Just Pedals think that Tone City nailed it with the Tone City All Spark Boost Pedal.

This pedal will not work with a 9V battery, and requires a 9V DC power supply to work (not included).

The Tone City All Spark is a low-gain boost pedal, focused on providing a natural-sounding kick of volume to your signal. Using a very simple one knob and two switch control layout, you can fit the All Spark into any rig within minutes of getting it out of the box.

Thanks to its mini pedal enclosure, you can easily set the All Spark up on a pedalboard of practically any size. Or, you could even create a mini board formed of just Tone City pedals, for the ultimate portable setup!

Gain Control

A lot of boost pedals are filled with a bunch of unnecessary controls, that are not really needed for day-to-day use. The simpler single control setup of the All Spark provides a pure clean volume boost, that depending on your amp, will push it to the edge of break-up or just add extra volume for the next time you want to go into a sweet solo.

Fat & Bright Switches

Although the aim of the All Spark is to keep it simple, it does however feature two essential switches that add an extra layer of versatility. The 'bright' switch gives you that extra bit of upper mid-range bite, something that you would want when playing lead parts to ensure that you cut through in a mix.

The 'fat' switch enhances the lower frequencies, letting you improve the bass response of your amplifier. So, if you find your sound becoming a bit thin with the boost engaged, you can fatten it up with just a flick of a switch!

Boost

A boost pedal is used to increase the overall volume or gain of an instrument’s signal, typically without adding distortion or altering the tone drastically. It’s commonly used to push the amp into overdrive, making solos stand out or increasing the power of the signal for a more pronounced sound. Boost pedals can also be used to emphasise specific frequencies, helping the instrument cut through the mix during performances.

There are different types of boost pedals, such as clean boost and colored boost. Clean boost preserves the natural tone of the instrument while increasing the volume, whereas colored boost can alter the sound slightly, adding warmth, presence, or a subtle tonal shift. Popular boost pedals include models from Xotic, Electro-Harmonix, and TC Electronic, each offering different features like EQ controls, low noise, and transparency, allowing players to tailor their boost to fit their unique playing style.

Pedal

A pedal is an electronic device that alters the sound of an electric guitar by applying various effects. Pedals are typically connected in a series between the guitar and amplifier, allowing guitarists to switch effects on and off with their feet while playing.

This enables musicians to quickly and easily change their sound, adding versatility and creativity to their performances.

Pedals are essential tools in many musical genres, including rock, blues, jazz, and metal, allowing artists to craft distinctive and dynamic soundscapes.

Once you buy one, you can’t stop and then you have to sell them and buy more.
