This pedal will not work with a 9V battery, and requires a 9V DC power supply to work (not included).

The Tone City All Spark is a low-gain boost pedal, focused on providing a natural-sounding kick of volume to your signal. Using a very simple one knob and two switch control layout, you can fit the All Spark into any rig within minutes of getting it out of the box.

Thanks to its mini pedal enclosure, you can easily set the All Spark up on a pedalboard of practically any size. Or, you could even create a mini board formed of just Tone City pedals, for the ultimate portable setup!

Gain Control

A lot of boost pedals are filled with a bunch of unnecessary controls, that are not really needed for day-to-day use. The simpler single control setup of the All Spark provides a pure clean volume boost, that depending on your amp, will push it to the edge of break-up or just add extra volume for the next time you want to go into a sweet solo.

Fat & Bright Switches

Although the aim of the All Spark is to keep it simple, it does however feature two essential switches that add an extra layer of versatility. The ‘bright’ switch gives you that extra bit of upper mid-range bite, something that you would want when playing lead parts to ensure that you cut through in a mix.

The ‘fat’ switch enhances the lower frequencies, letting you improve the bass response of your amplifier. So, if you find your sound becoming a bit thin with the boost engaged, you can fatten it up with just a flick of a switch!

Boost Pedals

Boost pedals increase your signal level, helping solos stand out, pushing an amplifier harder or adding extra presence to your tone. Some boosts are clean and transparent, while others add colour, midrange, grit or brightness depending on the circuit design.

A boost pedal can be used before overdrive to add saturation, after drive pedals for a volume lift, or at the start of the chain to strengthen the guitar signal. It is one of the simplest but most useful pedals for live players and tone-shapers alike.

Boost

Boost pedals and related effects are commonly used by guitarists looking to shape their tone in a more focused and creative way. Different designs offer their own response, feel and tonal character depending on the style of music and the type of amplifier or guitar being used.

Many players build pedalboards gradually over time, combining different effects and utilities to create a setup that suits their own sound and workflow. Boost related gear can play an important role in both live performance and studio recording.
