Centred around a pair of classic BC108 transistors and a handful of legendary fuzz tweaks, it moves effortlessly from sputtery Velcro textures to thick, sustaining distortion, with intuitive controls that make it easy to dial in a sound that sits perfectly in your rig and your mix. Alongside the familiar Volume and Fuzz knobs, Fuzz 101 adds an external Bias control for shaping the character and feel of the fuzz, plus a Rat-inspired Tone circuit that lets you either slice through a dense band mix or smooth off the top end for a warmer, more blended sound.
