Tremolo Pedals

Tremolo pedals vary the level of the signal over time, creating a pulse that can be smooth, choppy, vintage or rhythmically pronounced. Rate sets speed; depth, waveform, bias, phase and tap tempo shape the movement. Some designs offer harmonic tremolo or stereo routing, while simpler circuits concentrate on a single amplitude modulation. Placement before drive can make the amplifier respond to the pulse; placement after gain gives a more direct volume effect. Check the available control range and bypass behaviour.
