The Roland JC series of amplifiers broke every rule set by amp manufacturers for what made a popular amplifier. They are solid state combo amplifiers with built in effects with a stereo speaker setup. Single Channel – Let Your Pedals Sing
While the original JC-120 did have two channels in recent years when pedals have become a must have for all guitar players most just use the one channel. This gave Roland the unique opportunity to cut the size of the amp significantly without needing to get rid of the iconic sound that made the amp so famous.
