The Locked switch lets you seamlessly switch between the sounds of the different circuits, turning one off as the other turns on. You’ve also got the choice to place the boost at the beginning or end of the signal chain, changing whether the circuit acts as a clean boost or pushes the gain even harder. Boost, drive and distortion designed with Steve Lukather The overdrive section in the SL-OD ranges from low-gain breakup to fiery high gain swagger. A simple Gain switch bumps up the heat for a thicker sound, while the Fat switch blooms out the low-end. The distortion brings sharper, refined aggression, strategically placed after the overdrive to allow you to load up a little extra kick by activating both at the same time. The Tight switch enhances it even further to squeeze the low-end for punchy attack.
