The XD series is a new form factor from Pedaltrain. Six rails. Novo spacing. Extra deep mounting surface. Stack pedals three deep? Can do. Add a switching system? No problem. Expression pedals? Of course!
Pedaltrain is a Nashville-based independent musical-instrument accessory maker founded in 1999. Its patented pedalboard system is built around different board sizes and formats, with matching cases, mounting hardware, pedal boosters and cable-management accessories. Pedaltrain offers an original-purchaser lifetime warranty on its boards. JustPedals listings include the compact Metro 20, Classic JR and larger Novo 24, with both soft-case and tour-case options. Pedaltrain is a board and rig-organisation specialist rather than an effects-pedal maker, so useful comparisons include usable surface area, case type and how the board fits the player’s power and mounting setup.
A pedalboard provides a stable surface and cable space for arranging effects as one transportable signal system. Rail spacing, usable area and mounting method determine which enclosures fit, while underside clearance controls power-supply and cable placement. Case type, weight, handles, risers, patch bays and removable sections affect protection and access without changing the audio signal itself.
