Description

The MXR Carbon Copy Mini Delay Pedal is currently retailing at £179 and it is in stock. Available to be delivered to you by post direct (some charge may apply). The team at Just Pedals think that MXR nailed it with the MXR Carbon Copy Mini Delay Pedal.

The full-sized MXR Carbon Copy delay pedal is considered by many as a modern classic. A pedalboard staple for many, this beautiful-sounding analogue delay is adored for its rich and warm repeats; only made possible with its old-school bucket brigade technology.

The MXR Carbon Copy Mini packs everything that we love about the standard pedal into a smaller and more ergonomic enclosure. But that's not all, as MXR has given it another trick up its sleeve! Boasting the same control-set as its full-sized counterpart, the mini version also has a 'Bright' switch that lets you access the more vibrant sounds from the Carbon Copy Bright pedal. Pretty cool, huh?

Simple Controls

MXR kept it simple with the original Carbon Copy. Instead of fitting their stompbox with fiddly and unnecessary controls, MXR decided to equip you with the absolute essentials, and the Carbon Copy Mini adheres to the same philosophy. This makes it very easy to dial in a fantastic delay sound anywhere and at any time (no pun intended).

The MXR Carbon Copy Mini's 'Mix' control lets you balance your dry sound with the wet delay, enabling you to set anything from a subtle solo thickener to a loud and engulfing ambient effect. 'Regen' allows you to dial in the amount of repeats, while 'Delay' affects their time. With 600ms of delay time on tap, there's plenty to play with!

The Carbon Copy Mini has also carried over the 'Mod' button from its bigger brother. Press this, and you'll add a sweet chorus-like modulation to your repeats, for that nostalgic '80s-style delay sound. The right-hand side of the pedal features the aforementioned 'Bright' switch, which adds more top-end to the repeats for a clearer and more articulate tone.

About MXR

We have new and used MXR gear available on our website for fast direct delivery direct to you from across sellers in all areas of the USA & UK.

MXR is a renowned American effects pedal brand, founded in 1972, that has earned a reputation for its reliable, high-quality products with a focus on simplicity and performance. Known for their iconic compact designs, MXR pedals have become staples on pedalboards across genres. Popular models like the Phase 90, Dyna Comp, and Distortion+ have been integral to the sounds of rock, punk, and beyond. With a commitment to durability and tone, MXR continues to innovate, offering a wide range of pedals, from overdrives and delays to modulation and loopers.

Delay

A delay pedal is used to create an echo effect by repeating the original sound after a short time. It works by capturing the input signal and then replaying it with adjustable delay time and feedback. The longer the delay time and the more feedback, the more pronounced the repeating echo becomes, adding depth and space to the sound.

There are different types of delay pedals, including analogue, digital, and tape delay. Analog delay provides a warmer, more natural echo, while digital delay offers clear, precise repeats and additional features like tap tempo. Tape delay mimics the sound of vintage tape machines, adding a distinctive, slightly warbled effect. Delay pedals are widely used across genres to create atmosphere, enhance solos, or add complexity to rhythms.

Mini

A mini pedal is a compact version of a standard guitar effect pedal, designed to save space on a pedalboard without sacrificing tone. Mini pedals are ideal for guitarists who need a portable setup or want to fit more effects into a limited space. Despite their small size, many mini pedals offer the same high-quality sound as their full-sized counterparts, though they may have fewer controls or lack battery power options. Popular mini pedals include the TC Electronic Hall of Fame Mini (Reverb), Ibanez Tube Screamer Mini (Overdrive), and Xotic EP Booster (Boost), making them a great choice for efficient pedalboard setups.

Pedal

A pedal is an electronic device that alters the sound of an electric guitar by applying various effects. Pedals are typically connected in a series between the guitar and amplifier, allowing guitarists to switch effects on and off with their feet while playing.

This enables musicians to quickly and easily change their sound, adding versatility and creativity to their performances.

Pedals are essential tools in many musical genres, including rock, blues, jazz, and metal, allowing artists to craft distinctive and dynamic soundscapes.

Once you buy one, you can’t stop and then you have to sell them and buy more.
