Remember those giant chrome Tel-Ray Morleys from the 70s? So do a lot of our fans, and after years of folks asking us to revisit some of those designs, now is the time! The original Tel-Ray Volume Boost combined an optical Volume (no pots to wear out or get scratchy) and a foot-selectable boost circuit that can give you up to 40db of boost. Be loud and proud!

To save room on your pedal board, we made the Volume Boost much smaller than the original Tel-Ray version. To pay homage to the 70’s Tel-Ray Morley pedals, we decked it out in a chrome base and treadle, increased the pedal base height so it sticks up above the other pedals on your pedal board and added a vintage style knob on the Wah Boost and other visual details to give it that 70’s vibe. Groovy man!

Then, we added a few cool features like a glow-in-the-dark treadle grip so you can always find your pedal on a dark stage, an LED indication so you know what is on or off and designed to power up from a 9V adapter. We recommend the use of a Truetone One Spot adapter.

If you’re a fan of the 70’s Tel-Ray Morley pedals and our current lineup, this is the best of both worlds. Plus it is the first of a group of Tel-Ray Revival Series pedals coming down the pipeline. Buy a Morley. And Step On it!

Just Pedal Ingredients.

Boost — A boost pedal is like that extra drizzle of olive oil or pinch of salt that brings the whole dish to life. It doesn’t change the flavour — it enhances it. By increasing your signal level without colouring your tone, a boost adds clarity, punch, and presence to whatever’s already on your plate. Whether you use it to push your amp into natural overdrive, lift a solo above the mix, or add that last bit of sparkle before serving, a good boost pedal is the chef’s secret ingredient. Simple, pure, and essential — it’s the appetiser that makes every course taste better.. Guitar Pedals — Your pedal is like a signature dish for your sound — a flavour-packed creation that transforms the bland ingredients of your guitar into something unforgettable. Each one adds its own seasoning, texture, and heat, turning a simple meal into a feast of tone. These tasty little boxes sit in a row, like plates on a buffet, letting you mix and match flavours as you play. With one tap of your foot, you can swap sweet for spicy, subtle for smoky, and serve up something completely new. From the comfort food of warm overdrive to the fiery kick of fuzz, from smooth jazz sauce to heavy-metal spice, pedals give players a full menu of options to express their taste.  And just like with food, once you’ve tried one dish, you’ll want to sample them all. Collecting, trading, and discovering new flavours soon becomes part of the joy of being a tone-loving gourmet geek with a guitar.. New — This is brand new, fresh in, and a UK warranty is included. Volume — Volume pedals control the output level of a guitar signal using a foot-operated treadle. They allow smooth volume swells, dynamic control during playing, and easy muting between songs. Volume pedals can be placed at different points in the signal chain to either control overall loudness or adjust gain and drive behaviour when positioned before distortion or overdrive pedals..
