Here's What Hotone Say About the Binary Eko

Grown out of next-generation XTOMP technology, the Hotone Binary Series lets loose versatile pro-level effects in compact cases. Based on the same modeling/original effect library that amazed XTOMP users worldwide, Binary Series are dedicated to gather a bunch of high quality effects in a box with more affordable, competitive price. They feature compact casing, dual-footswitch design, versatile inputs/outputs and bright, clear OLED display, which blur the line between “classic pedals” and multi-effects.

At the core of all Binary Series pedals, a powerful dual-DSP platform and CDCM (Comprehensive Dynamic Circuit Modeling) modeling system ensure a realistic playing experience. The CDCM system is built on an extremely complex dynamic variation matrix, able to realistically express every detailed change that occurs during the operational process of actual circuitry: Everything is ALIVE and performs like its original.

Hotone is a global brand known for its compact and affordable audio equipment, including effects pedals, amp modelers, and guitar accessories. Founded in 2009, the company quickly gained popularity for offering high-quality gear in small, portable formats without sacrificing performance. Hotone?s products, such as the Skyline and XT series pedals, are designed to provide powerful sound-shaping capabilities while maintaining a sleek, user-friendly interface. Their gear is particularly favoured by musicians who need reliable and versatile effects in a small footprint, making it ideal for pedalboard setups or musicians on the go.

Delay

A delay pedal is used to create an echo effect by repeating the original sound after a short time. It works by capturing the input signal and then replaying it with adjustable delay time and feedback. The longer the delay time and the more feedback, the more pronounced the repeating echo becomes, adding depth and space to the sound.

There are different types of delay pedals, including analogue, digital, and tape delay. Analog delay provides a warmer, more natural echo, while digital delay offers clear, precise repeats and additional features like tap tempo. Tape delay mimics the sound of vintage tape machines, adding a distinctive, slightly warbled effect. Delay pedals are widely used across genres to create atmosphere, enhance solos, or add complexity to rhythms.

Pedal

A pedal is an electronic device that alters the sound of an electric guitar by applying various effects. Pedals are typically connected in a series between the guitar and amplifier, allowing guitarists to switch effects on and off with their feet while playing.

This enables musicians to quickly and easily change their sound, adding versatility and creativity to their performances.

Pedals are essential tools in many musical genres, including rock, blues, jazz, and metal, allowing artists to craft distinctive and dynamic soundscapes.

Once you buy one, you can’t stop and then you have to sell them and buy more.
