The Eventide Riptide is a stereo overdrive and Uni-Vibe pedal that combines two distinctive effects in one flexible unit. Extensive research into classic Uni-Vibe modulation and overdrive has resulted in four different effect voices with two Drive and two Vibe options ready to explore. Green Drive delivers dynamic mid-range crunch while Red provides smoother boosted overdrive. On the Vibe side Green captures traditional Uni-Vibe character while Red takes the effect into deeper more phase-heavy territory. Riptide also lets you change the order of its effects moving from Drive into Vibe or Vibe into Drive at the press of a button. Five presets are available directly from the pedal with further preset management through Eventide Device Manager software.
