The Bower Power takes a classic op‑amp overdrive, slams it together with a solid‑state power amp boost, and creates a pedal that goes everywhere from edge‑of-breakup grit to full‑blown, face‑melting filth. It’s the sort of box that just begs to be cranked. “Suffering” sets the gain of the op-amp overdrive, while “Abuse” sets the gain of the power amp boost.
Low‑end thunder & chainsaw bite
Together they serve up everything from thick, murky doom to snarling, cutting aggression. Because op‑amp circuits naturally trim low end, the power amp side is voiced specifically to bring that rumble back in — perfect for those cavernous, detuned riffs. And with an active tilt EQ on the Tone control, you can go even darker, doomier and filthier… or push the upper mids and treble if you want your riffs to slice through the mix like a rusted chainsaw. There’s plenty of output on tap too, if you want to steamroll the front of your amp or punish any pedals sitting downstream.
