Patch Cable

Patch cables link pedals over short distances and are chosen for connector clearance, flexibility, shielding and capacitance as much as for nominal length. Right-angle plugs can save space, but their orientation and housing size must fit the sockets. Check whether the lead carries mono or stereo audio, whether it is intended for power or signal, and whether the routing leaves enough strain relief to avoid stressing the jacks.
