The Strandberg Standard takes the same key features of the Strandberg Original, and gives it a solidbody made from a hand-selected piece of American Basswood, a stunning Maple Top and Strandberg Pickups.

Key Features

  • The EndurNeck – Due to the way that it is designed, it is experienced as comfortable whether you are used to a thick or thin neck.
  • Body Carves – The body of the guitar has an arm & neck-joint carve making the guitar even more ergonomic to play.
  • Strandberg Locking Tuners – Make tuning a much simpler task with the EGS Series 7 technology.

The Standard Strandberg, with Premium Features

The Boden guitars are known for their value-for-money, but still featuring quality components. The solidbody has a distinctively different kind of sound and response than the chambered body, and results in full-bodied tone.

Strandberg OEM Pickups

This guitar features Strandberg pickups created from Strandberg’s own design. Strandberg OEM pickups are equipped with Alnico 5 magnets which are the perfect choice for a truly responsive pickup. The bridge humbucker yields a midrange-focused tone with a tight bass and fluid sustain while the neck humbucker is wound for clarity with focus on sparkly treble and higher midrange.

The EndurNeck

The EndurNeck™ is a patented neck profile that provides many benefits. By utilizing flat surfaces rather than a round profile, it provides a more restful grip for the thumb. Ergonomically, your hand is much stronger when gripping something thick than when gripping something thin, and the EndurNeck™ uses this fact in its design.

Chord playing is made easier at the far end of the neck, while soloing and fret access in general at the near end of the neck is made easier. The result is less stress on muscles, joints & tendons, which lets you play more relaxed, with less fatigue, which results in less risk of injury and better playing, which is one of the true values of the Strandberg designs.

Tremolo

A tremolo pedal modulates the volume of your guitar signal up and down in a rhythmic pattern, creating a pulsing or wavering effect that can sound vintage and hypnotic or sharp and choppy depending on the settings. It’s one of the oldest effects in guitar history, famously used on classic amps from the 1950s and ’60s.

Most tremolo pedals let you control the speed, depth, and wave shape, allowing you to go from smooth, subtle swells to intense stuttering tones. It’s a simple but expressive effect that adds movement and character to your sound.
