The Xotic BB Preamp Pedal is a super versatile preamp pedal that can offer up to 30dB of clean boost and an adjustable EQ that'll allow you to alter the voice, harmonics and tone of your guitar. The great thing about the BB Preamp is that it works well as an overdrive or as a simple always on pedal that'll just make your sound better whenever it's on. A sonic percolator if you will.
The gain is sensitive in that it'll drive the pedal when turned up but when all the way down allows the pedal to simply boost your signal. You can then tweak your tone with the treble and bass to taste. You can dial bass or top-end into your tone with ease using the 2x EQ controls.
