A single box may provide drives, modulation, delay, reverb, amp and cab simulation, tuning, looping, rhythm or headphone monitoring, with presets recalling complete signal chains. The useful specifications are routing flexibility, footswitch assignment, editing method, expression or MIDI control, stereo I/O, latency and current draw.
