Behold, The Fates! Inspired by the Japanese Chorus pedals of yesteryear, The Fates is the first modulation pedal by Mythos. Utilizing the iconic MN3207 chip, this BBD Analogue Chorus has all the swirly tones you’d expect from those classic 80’s units.

The Fates features finely tuned Rate and Depth controls so that you have the most musical range of sounds – Both the Chorus and Vibrato modes will run the gamut of swirly shimmer to rotary speaker like vibes.

On the face of the unit is a Rate LED that will flash in relation to the Rate setting. This Analogue Chorus is not for those who want presets, infinite controls, and other modern feature sets. The Fates is for the player who wants to plug in and enjoy the simplicity of iconic Chorus tones with ease.

Key Features

  • JFET Buffered Bypass/Input stage – This JFET stage gives you a sweet output bump and EQ voicing that plays well with both clean and driven sounds.
  • Vibrato Mode – Vibrato mode that turns off the clean mix portion of the Chorus but didn’t stop with just that simple mod. The Vibrato mod has been finely tuned to shift select components so that it does not have that extreme warble from the depth pot.

Specifications

  • Buffered Bypass Switching
  • Power: 9V PSU only
  • 16mA Current Draw

Tasty Pedals made by Mythos

Just Pedal Ingredients.

Analogue — Analogue refers to circuitry that uses continuous electrical signals rather than digital processing. In pedals, analogue designs are often valued for their natural response, warmth, and dynamic feel, particularly in overdrive, fuzz, and modulation effects inspired by classic designs.. Chorus — A chorus pedal works by splitting your signal, slightly delaying one part and modulating its pitch before blending it back with the original. The result is a rich, shimmering tone that feels wide and fluid, almost as if several guitars are playing together in unison. It’s an effect that can add life and movement to your playing, making clean tones sound lush and dreamy or adding a subtle shimmer to warm overdrive. From the classic 80s shimmer heard on countless records to modern ambient textures, the chorus effect remains timeless. Whether you want a gentle swirl for rhythm parts or a deep, detuned wash for atmospheric soundscapes, a good chorus pedal brings space and dimension to your tone. It’s a staple on many pedalboards for its ability to transform even the simplest chords into something spacious and expressive.  . Guitar Pedals — Your pedal is like a signature dish for your sound — a flavour-packed creation that transforms the bland ingredients of your guitar into something unforgettable. Each one adds its own seasoning, texture, and heat, turning a simple meal into a feast of tone. These tasty little boxes sit in a row, like plates on a buffet, letting you mix and match flavours as you play. With one tap of your foot, you can swap sweet for spicy, subtle for smoky, and serve up something completely new. From the comfort food of warm overdrive to the fiery kick of fuzz, from smooth jazz sauce to heavy-metal spice, pedals give players a full menu of options to express their taste.  And just like with food, once you’ve tried one dish, you’ll want to sample them all. Collecting, trading, and discovering new flavours soon becomes part of the joy of being a tone-loving gourmet geek with a guitar.. New — This is brand new, fresh in, and a UK warranty is included. Vibrato — Vibrato refers to a guitar pedal effect that modulates pitch slightly up and down, creating movement and a sense of wobble in the sound. Unlike tremolo, which changes volume, vibrato affects pitch only, producing anything from subtle shimmer to pronounced, warbling textures. It is often used to add character, depth, and vintage-style modulation to guitar tones..
