The Cali76 FET Compressor is a studio-grade compressor pedal which is inspired by the world famous Urei 1176 studio compressor, heard on many of the greatest studio recordings since the 1960s.

Key Features

  • All Analogue – An all-analogue signal path.
  • Fast Compression – Ultra-fast FET compression.
  • Inspired by the Classics – 1176-inspired circuitry is used to make sure the authentic 1176 tone is delivered.
  • Dry Blend Control – Use the Dry Blend control for parallel compression.
  • Monitor your Gain on the Meter – 10-LED bar graph gain reduction meter.
  • Higher Headroom – Voltage increased internally to 24V for high headroom.
  • Ultra-high Input Impedance – Improved dynamic response matches “large format” Cali76.

The Cali76 FET Compressor uses uncompromising all-analogue circuitry to make these distinctive, ultra-fast FET compression tones available to modern guitarists and bassists.

Compressor

A compressor pedal evens out your dynamics, smoothing peaks and lifting quieter notes so everything feels tighter and more controlled. It adds sustain, clarity, and balance — making clean chords ring longer, country licks snap with precision, and funk rhythms pop with consistency. Subtle or pronounced, compression shapes the feel of your playing as much as the sound.

Use it at the front of your chain to tighten your core tone, add sustain to leads, or keep complex passages sitting neatly in the mix. From gentle polish to unmistakable squash, a compressor is one of those foundational tools that quietly makes everything sound more professional and dialled in.
