The legendary Katana is back! Keeley have gone back to their roots while giving this classic a modern twist. This latest version uses the original JFETs that made the first Katana so beloved, but now with an updated boost mode for even more punch and clarity — especially in those low-end notes. It’s everything you loved, but better.

A boost built like a tank

Keeley have stepped up the build quality with modern construction techniques, making this one of the most reliable clean boosts out there. There’s even a slick new aluminium control knob that’s designed for quick adjustments mid-performance. It’s solid, stylish and ready for the road.

Loads of oomph

Want your tone, just louder? Easy — roll that volume knob forward with your foot and you’re sorted. But if you’re craving more, pull the knob out and unleash a fat, harmonically rich boost that adds tasty tube-like grit. Use it as an always-on amp pusher or kick it in when you need to slice through the mix. Your call.

Two modes: pure clean & high gain

  • With the speed knob pushed in, think of it as a volume control that goes to 20.
  • With the speed knob pulled out, it’s a cutting boost with a touch of gain. It’s not quite an overdrive, but has enough tube-style edge to make your tone sing.

Voltage doubling magic

Inside, the Katana is packing dual FETs for the most tube-like tone you’ll get from a transistor design. It even doubles the internal voltage — feed it 9VDC and a charge pump nearly doubles that for massive headroom. Don’t go sticking 18V in there though, as it’s designed for 9V only!

Just Pedal Ingredients.

Boost — A boost pedal is like that extra drizzle of olive oil or pinch of salt that brings the whole dish to life. It doesn’t change the flavour — it enhances it. By increasing your signal level without colouring your tone, a boost adds clarity, punch, and presence to whatever’s already on your plate. Whether you use it to push your amp into natural overdrive, lift a solo above the mix, or add that last bit of sparkle before serving, a good boost pedal is the chef’s secret ingredient. Simple, pure, and essential — it’s the appetiser that makes every course taste better.. Clean. Guitar Pedals — Your pedal is like a signature dish for your sound — a flavour-packed creation that transforms the bland ingredients of your guitar into something unforgettable. Each one adds its own seasoning, texture, and heat, turning a simple meal into a feast of tone. These tasty little boxes sit in a row, like plates on a buffet, letting you mix and match flavours as you play. With one tap of your foot, you can swap sweet for spicy, subtle for smoky, and serve up something completely new. From the comfort food of warm overdrive to the fiery kick of fuzz, from smooth jazz sauce to heavy-metal spice, pedals give players a full menu of options to express their taste.  And just like with food, once you’ve tried one dish, you’ll want to sample them all. Collecting, trading, and discovering new flavours soon becomes part of the joy of being a tone-loving gourmet geek with a guitar.. New — This is brand new, fresh in, and a UK warranty is included.
