Allow JustPedals to introduce the JHS 3 Series Rotary Chorus Pedal

The JHS Pedals 3 Series is a collection of pedals designed to give you affordability and simplicity without compromising quality. Each pedal has three simple controls and one toggle that offer a wide range of sounds, perfect for beginners and professionals alike. The JHS Pedals 3 Series will inspire your playing and help you explore new sounds at a totally approachable price point.

Controls

  • VOLUME – Controls the overall volume of the pedal. Left is less, right is more.
  • INTENSITY – Controls the modulation depth. Left is less, right is more.
  • SPEED – Controls how the rate of modulation. Left is slower, right is faster.
  • ROOM – Switch down is standard effect. Switch up adds a roomy reverb.

Intensity determines the modulation depth. Speed lets you control how fast the simulated speaker “spins.” When you turn the Room toggle on (up position), it adds a roomy, reverb ambiance to the sound, much like the ambient “room microphone” sound that happens when recording a real Leslie*.

The Rotary Effect

The rotary effect was one of the earliest modulation effects to hit the music scene. Originally designed for Hammond* organs, the Leslie* was a rotating speaker that created the recognizable Doppler effect (think church organ). You’ve heard rotary effects on everything from It’s Only Love by the Beatles to Cold Shot by Stevie Ray Vaughn and from City Love by John Mayer to Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden. It’s everywhere! The JHS Pedals 3 Series Rotary Chorus brings you this classic, spinning chorus tone in an affordable, easy-to-use pedal format!

Specifications

  • INPUT – ¼” jack on the right side of the pedal.
  • OUTPUT – ¼” jack on the left side of the pedal.
  • POWER – Requires 9VDC negative center power and consumes 65mA. Not not use more than 9VDC. You will void your warranty.

Chorus

A chorus pedal thickens and widens your tone by subtly duplicating your signal and shifting it slightly out of tune and time. The result is movement — shimmering cleans, liquid arpeggios, and that unmistakable 80s swirl that makes single notes feel fuller and chords sound expansive. From gentle sparkle to deep, watery modulation, chorus adds dimension without overwhelming your core sound.

Use it to bring life to clean passages, soften driven tones, or create spacious textures that sit beautifully in a band mix. Whether you’re after subtle depth or bold, warbling character, a chorus pedal is a simple way to make your guitar sound bigger, richer, and more immersive.
