The Ibanez Twin Peaks is a new Wah pedal unlike any other pedal before it! Most standard Wah pedals are built using a single peak point to achieve the effect, but the Twin Peaks doubles down on this sound by utilizing dual peak points at a higher and lower frequency.

On the side of the pedal, you can control the amount of Wah effect coming through with the level knob, and a tone switch which switches from high to low.

Additionally, the mix of the two frequency peaks can be controlled via the balance knob on the side of the pedal, inspiring enriched levels of sonic experimentation with this exciting and entirely new pedal from Ibanez.

Key Features

  • True Bypass – Use the Ibanez Twin Peaks as part of your signal chain without muddying up your tonal quality.
  • Dual Peak Points – On a normal Wah, the pedal has a “peak” point, where the sound changes, but with this pedal, you are able to use the balance control to set exactly where you want the dual peak points to be.

Wah & Filter Pedals

Wah effects sweep a resonant band-pass or related filter through the frequency spectrum, creating the vowel-like movement associated with the treadle. Envelope filters move automatically in response to picking level, while fixed and sequenced filters use other control sources. Sweep range, resonance, direction, sensitivity and input loading determine whether the response is vocal, percussive, smooth or sharply synthetic.

True Bypass

Connects input directly to output through mechanical or relay switching when the effect is off, removing the active circuit from the audio path. It avoids buffer colour but leaves cable capacitance and switching design to influence high-frequency loss and possible switching noise.
