Dave Friedman has been building pedalboards for over 30 years. From the fancy and ultra-complex to the modest and simplistic, Dave has seen and designed them all for the who's who of the industry. When it came time for Dave to design his own line of pedalboards, everything a touring or home guitar player actually needs was meticulously thought out and addressed. All Friedman Tour Pro pedalboards are made in the USA and built to a fantastic standard.

Practical Two-Tier Design

While most pedalboards have either a flat or a slanted surface, the Tour Pro boards are designed with two tiers — a bottom section that is flat, and a top section that is angled (with all the holes needed for easy cable routing). This two-tier design allows you to have access to all of your stompboxes on the board, without resorting to ballerina-style, toe-extending dance moves. And, to address the need for wah and/or volume pedals, the Tour Pro 1317 includes a detachable riser that can be mounted in various locations on the bottom tier. Friedman thought about the left-footed guitar players too!

Expand with Friedman's Buffer Bay & Power Grid!

The Tour Pro 1317 pedalboard has mounting holes for the Friedman Buffer Bay 6 (ultra-transparent buffer with built-in patch bay) and the Friedman Power Grid 10 (isolated pedal power supply with 10 high-current 9V outputs). These are sold separately, or alternatively, you could buy the Tour Pro 1317 Platinum package which includes the pedalboard, Buffer Bay and Power Grid!

Brand

Friedman

In the current JustPedals catalogue, Friedman is represented by Pedalboards, Overdrive Pedals and Preamp & DI Pedals. Current listings include IR-X Preamp, BE-OD Overdrive and Tour Pro 1520 Pedalboard. That makes the range relevant to players looking for drive, gain and clipping, plus modelling, direct rigs and multi-effects. Check each model for its exact circuit or processing platform, controls, power requirements and connections, particularly where the catalogue includes both pedals and supporting gear.

Pedalboards

A pedalboard provides a stable surface and cable space for arranging effects as one transportable signal system. Rail spacing, usable area and mounting method determine which enclosures fit, while underside clearance controls power-supply and cable placement. Case type, weight, handles, risers, patch bays and removable sections affect protection and access without changing the audio signal itself.
