The Animals Pedals Push & Pull Distortion is inspired by the highly revered “brown sound", made famous by one Eddie Van Halen. This legendary guitar tone was the result of a cranked British valve amp and was once only attainable with thousands of pounds worth of vintage gear…enter the Animals Pedals Push & Pull Distortion!

The Push & Pull Distortion has a thick, amp-like texture and is designed to be used with a clean amplifier. However, set the Gain control low and it is great for boosting an already overdriven amp. From edgy rhythm crunch sounds to effortless legatos with singing sustain, the Push & Pull can turn even the cleanest of amps into a snarling beast! Controls for Drive, Level and Tone put a host of tone shaping options at your feet and with true-bypass switching, you can rest easy in the knowledge that your dry signal will not be affected when the pedal is bypassed!
