Crazy Tube Circuits designed their Memphis Vibrato as the "little brother" to their Killer V. Lots of CTC's customers asked for a true pitch shifting amp-like vibrato pedal, without the drive section — and they delivered.

It features all-analogue LFO and a true-to-the-original-amp 2-stage pitch shifting circuit powered from an internal voltage multiplier for high headroom and improved dynamic response. A clean, period-correct preamp with up to 20db boost takes you back to the late '50s/early '60s!

With the intensity and speed knobs, you can add a subtle shimmer or a pronounced 3D acoustic image and musical feel with ear-pleasing vibrato for instant, classic Lonnie Mack/Robert Ward sounds.

The toggle switch selects between 100% modulated signal, or places the dry unmodulated signal in parallel with the modulated signal. The latter setup was found in some of the original amps through "stereo" inputs and yields whirling phaser/vibe sounds.

Pitch & Harmoniser Pedals

Octave, pitch and harmony pedals shift your guitar signal up or down to create extra notes, thicker textures and unusual musical effects. They can add a lower octave for heavier riffs, create twelve-string style shimmer, produce synth-like tones or generate harmonised lead lines.

These pedals are popular with experimental guitarists, bass players, solo performers and anyone wanting to make one instrument sound larger. Tracking quality, blend controls and polyphonic performance all affect how natural or extreme the final sound feels.

Pitch

Pitch pedals and related effects are commonly used by guitarists looking to shape their tone in a more focused and creative way. Different designs offer their own response, feel and tonal character depending on the style of music and the type of amplifier or guitar being used.

Many players build pedalboards gradually over time, combining different effects and utilities to create a setup that suits their own sound and workflow. Pitch related gear can play an important role in both live performance and studio recording.
