Description

The Pollinator Hazee Delay is a hive full of evolving delay textures. At its core, it’s a modulated delay where the repeats are shaped by either a filter or a tremolo, depending on the selected mode, allowing each repeat to bloom, shift, and evolve beeyond a traditional delay.
Some modes run the delay forward, others in reverse. Some push the repeats an octave up, and there are even two special Queen Bee modes that unlock more experimental beehaviors.
While the interface is simple and intuitive, the controls are deeply interactive. Each mode holds a wide range of completely different sounds, and small adjustments can radically reshape the delay—from subtle motion to dense, hazee textures.
The Hazee Delay is unlike anything else in the Beetronics hive. It excels at creating textures, ambeeances, and rhythmic chaos that blur the line between delay, modulation, and sound design. Plug it in, turn a few knobs, and let it pollinate your pedalboard with sounds you’ve never heard beefore.
Filter / Delay Modes:
1) Filter+Forward-Repeats
2) Filter+Forward-Oct-up
3) Filter+Reverse-Repeats
4) Filter+Reverse-Oct-up
5) Trem+Forward-Repeats
6) Trem+Forward-Oct-up
7) Trem+Reverse-Repeats
8) Trem+Reverse-Oct-up
Key Features
Beetronics’s first fully digital pedal. While we’ve used digital control before, the Hazee Delay processes the signal digitally, letting us do things that simply aren’t possible in analog land.
Most modulated delays wiggle the delay time, which makes the repeats pitch up and down. Hazee does it differently. The signal is modulated first, by a filter or tremolo, and then delayed. That means the repeats are actually copies of a moving, modulated sound, not just echoes with wobble. It’s a big part of why Hazee feels so textural.
8 modes designed for endless texture – forward or reverse, octave up or fundamental, filtered or trembled, mixed with the dry signal or fully wet.
Unlike anything else in the hive, the Hazee Delay creates textures, ambeeances, and rhythmic movement that blur delay, modulation, and sound design.

Delay

A delay pedal records your signal and plays it back after a set time, creating echoes that can range from tight, slapback repeats to long, atmospheric trails. It’s one of the most versatile effects, used to thicken tones, add rhythmic depth, or build spacious, ambient layers. Analogue delays offer warm, decaying repeats that blend naturally with your tone, while digital units provide pristine echoes with precise control over time, feedback, and mix levels.

From classic rockabilly and tape-style echoes to modern looping and shimmer effects, delay pedals have become essential tools for shaping sound. They can make solos soar, rhythms pulse, or transform simple chord progressions into cinematic textures. Whether used subtly to add dimension or boldly to create soundscapes, a good delay pedal can completely redefine the feel and atmosphere of your music.
