The Fortin Fuzz is a brutally aggressive compact fuzz pedal designed for players chasing massive doom sludge and drone-inspired guitar tones. While inspired by some of the heaviest fuzz sounds ever recorded the Fuzz retains a distinctive Fortin identity with huge low-end power fierce saturation and tight modern articulation. Despite its small enclosure this pedal produces enormous wall-of-sound textures capable of transforming almost any amplifier into a crushing speaker-punishing machine. The pedal features an intuitive three-knob layout consisting of Level Gain and the uniquely voiced Girth control. While the Gain knob moves from classic fuzz textures into far more aggressive contemporary territory the Girth control dramatically increases low-end content before the gain stages creating the oversized bass response and crushing saturation needed for truly massive doom tones. The Level control provides plenty of output for pushing amplifier inputs harder and adding even more aggression to already high-gain rigs.

Fortin
Fortin is built for uncompromising high-gain performance, delivering tight, aggressive distortion with exceptional clarity and control. Designed with modern metal and extended-range guitars in mind, their amps and pedals focus on precision low end, cutting articulation, and crushing saturation that stays defined even under intense gain.
Choose Fortin when you want serious power without flub or muddiness. Whether it’s razor-sharp rhythm tones or fluid, sustaining leads, their gear is engineered to hit hard, stay tight, and dominate the mix with confidence.

Fuzz Pedals
Fuzz pedals push a signal into intentionally non-linear clipping, often producing strong sustain, compression and harmonic roughness. The circuit may be gated and spluttering, broad and woolly, bright and cutting, or rich in octave content. Germanium, silicon, op-amp and hybrid designs each respond differently to input level, temperature, pickup impedance and the guitar volume control. Fuzz is therefore unusually sensitive to placement: some pedals want to see the instrument first, while others prefer a buffered or driven signal. Judge the cleanup, noise and low-end behaviour as carefully as the maximum gain.
