Sometimes your signal just needs a little push, which is why we designed the GrumpyBot Buffer.

This very clever design delivers a very clean, quiet, low impedance signal, and delivers a tone which is vibrant and natural without sounding harsh the way some buffers can.

We also understand how valuable your pedalboard space is so we’ve made it ultra compact.

  • POWER – 9V-18V DC
  • CURRENT DRAW – 35mA
  • DIMENSIONS – 7cm x 4cm x 3.5 cm

The GigRig

The GigRig is a UK-based maker of guitar rig switching and modular power systems founded by guitarist Daniel Steinhardt. Its G3 systems manage effects loops, MIDI and multi-amp setups, while Generator and modular power components can be built out as a pedalboard grows. The company also makes signal splitters, patching products and board accessories. JustPedals listings include the Three2One switcher, GEN-X-14 supply and Generator. The GigRig says its switching systems and power accessories, except Generator, are designed and made in the UK; this distinction matters when comparing the origin of individual products.

Utility Pedals

Utility pedals solve signal-path tasks rather than imposing one recognisable effect. Buffers restore level and high-frequency response lost through cable capacitance, selectors route between instruments or amplifiers, summing boxes combine paths, and isolators interrupt hum-producing ground loops. Impedance, phase, transformer isolation, active or passive circuitry and switching method determine whether the routing remains quiet and transparent.
