Some pedals can take power up to 15 or even 18 volts through a standard DC power supply. Not all power supplies can provide this level of power however and because of this we are not getting the most out of our Xotic pedals because. Because of this Xotic have made the XVD-1 Voltage Doubler which takes your standard 9v power supply and ups it to either 15v or 18v.

More Voltage, More Headroom

Some pedals are designed to run at different voltages. While nearly all pedals will run on 9v DC power some can handle power up to 18v and beyond. These pedals when run at a voltage get more headroom, brightness and dynamic range in your sound. If you have an Xotic pedal that can handle 15v or 18v by adding this on to your pedalboard you will unleash the best version of that pedal.

This pedal is only designed to work with the following pedals, always check the voltage before using this with any pedal to make sure you do not damage your pedals.
