The Fulltone Fulldrive 3 Overdrive is a pedal that expands on the highly popular FD2 pedal offers increased versatility and tonal shaping possibilities. It utilises a JFET input and op-amp to provide an organic and very tube-like response from a solid-state pedal. Its two channels act completely independently and can be cascaded into one and other in whichever order you choose changeable via a mini-toggle switch. This pedal holds more than enough versatility and power to be used in whichever way you see fit whether that is as a boost to a lower-gain overdrive or as a roaring independent distortion. A buffered bypass delivers a clean signal and fattens up your tone through even the longest of cables as well as providing isolation from other pedals. This pedal is also equipped with a dynamics control providing subtle compression helping to limit those harsh transients and providing a more full-bodied tone. The Fulltone Fulldrive 3 is a highly refined pedal adding many potential overdrive flavours to your existing setup in a compact and road-ready format.

Guitar Pedals

Guitar Pedals is a useful category for players looking to shape their guitar or bass sound in a more focused way. Products in this area can help with tone, control, routing, performance or creative sound design depending on the exact type of gear involved.

For anyone building a pedalboard, guitar pedals options can help fill a specific gap in the signal chain or open up new sounds that are difficult to achieve with an amp alone. They are worth exploring when you want a more personal, flexible and practical setup.

Overdrive Pedals

Overdrive uses soft or moderate clipping to add harmonics and compression while retaining more of the original note shape than heavy distortion. Some circuits emphasise the midrange and trim bass before clipping; others remain broad, transparent or amplifier-like. Gain, clipping arrangement, headroom and tone filtering decide whether it supplies a light edge, a saturated drive sound or extra push into another gain stage.

Uses moderate clipping and gain-dependent compression to add harmonics while retaining much of the original note contour. Bass filtering, mid emphasis, clipping symmetry and available headroom decide whether it sounds open and amplifier-like, tightly focused or heavily saturated.
