The GP-50 packs a huge range of awesome amp tones and effects into a dinky unit that’s easy to take anywhere, while the VFR-110 FRFR cab provides all the depth, punch and detail your patches deserve. Together, they make the perfect grab-and-go rig for players who want great tone without the hassle of a traditional amp setup. Valeton GP-50: a portable all-in-one rig Valeton’s GP-50 builds on everything that made the GP-5 mini multi-FX pedal such a hit, delivering more power, more flexibility and even more ways to shape your sound. It’s still super pedalboard-friendly, but with a larger 1.77-inch colour display, extra controls and expanded connectivity, it’s more intuitive and versatile. There’s a built-in 1,450mAh rechargeable battery too, giving you the freedom to play wherever inspiration strikes. And at just 430g, the GP-50 is a doddle to take to rehearsals and gigs. Under the hood, the GP-50’s packed with over 100 high-quality effects and supports up to nine modules in a single signal chain, giving you plenty of scope to craft your perfect tone. And with 55 factory presets, 45 user slots, plus built-in features such as a looper, drum machine, tuner, audio interface and IR loader, it’s simply a modern guitarist’s dream. Valeton’s SnapTone tech also lets you load up to 80 Neural Amp Models, with 50 ready to use straight out of the box. Add customisable colour-coded footswitches, MIDI support, Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and compatibility with external footswitches and expression pedals, you’ve got a seriously powerful unit that punches well above its weight. Valeton VFR-110: lightweight design, big sound The VFR-110 is an FRFR (Full Range Flat Response) cab specially designed for digital modellers and multi-FX pedals. It reproduces your amp and cab simulations with amazing clarity and accuracy, letting you hear your tones exactly as intended. Plus, it’s been voiced to react more like a real guitar amplifier, so it’ll feel familiar if you’re coming from a more traditional amp. Don’t let its small size fool you, either. With a built-in Class D amplifier delivering up to 1300W of peak power, the VFR-110 has more than enough volume for home practice, rehearsals and live performances alike. And with its carefully tuned 10-inch woofer and 1-inch tweeter, it provides a rich, detailed and authentic sound. Valeton
Valeton grew out of a team with more than a decade of experience designing and building musical-instrument products for other brands, then developed its own range of performance-focused gear. Its line spans compact stompboxes, combined effects, loopers, pedal switchers and modelling processors. The GP-200 is a detailed example: Valeton specifies more than 140 amp and cabinet simulations, over 100 stompbox effects, USB audio, MIDI and an expression pedal. JustPedals also lists the VLP-200 stereo looper and EP-2 Surge expression pedal. Valeton’s strengths are easiest to judge by the specific platform and connections, not the word “pedal” alone.
Category
Multi-Effects Pedals
A multi-effects processor combines several effect algorithms and signal-routing stages in one unit. Its sound depends not only on the individual models but on their order, parallel or serial routing, processing resolution and available control. Preset structure, switching gaps, foot control, expression assignment, amp or cabinet modelling, USB audio and MIDI determine how completely the processor can replace separate pedals.
Tags
IR Loader
Convolves the signal with an impulse response, a captured measurement of a cabinet, speaker, microphone, room or other linear system. File length, sample rate, latency, storage and routing determine the detail of the captured response and how flexibly it can be combined.
Presets
Stores complete groups of parameter values for later recall. The number of locations, switching time, spillover behaviour and whether presets include routing, expression and MIDI assignments determine how completely one sound can change into another.
Rechargeable
Contains a battery designed to be recharged inside the unit. Cell capacity determines operating time, while charging connector, charge-while-playing support, battery protection and eventual replacement access affect long-term use. Charging noise and the number of full cycles before capacity declines are additional design considerations.
