NX 945-A is masterfully engineered from the ground up to deliver stellar audio performance for sound providers, small bands and DJs. The combination of a 4″ titanium/neodymium compression driver, 15″ neodymium woofer – two-channel 2,100W amplifier, and the constant directivity True Resistive Waveguide produces coherent 100 degree x 70 degree coverage for the listening area with up to 135 dB SPL, distortion-free sound. Used as a stand-alone speaker for a FOH system, satellite (with subwoofer), stage monitor, or flown speaker, the NX 945-A blends high performance and reliability in a compact package. Merging RCF proprietary FiRPHASE and Bass Motion Control DSP processing, perfectly tuned for each model, the audience will experience absolute sound clarity and deep, powerful bass response. The tour-ready, rugged all-wood cabinet is easy to carry and secure to install on a pole-, flown-, wall-, or truss-mounted using the dedicated rigging points available.

Key Features:

  • Powerful Class D amplifiers:
With 2100W power, the 2-channel NXL MK2 Class-D amplifier is 50% more powerful than previous models, able to manage extreme sound pressure levels with an ultra-fast attack, realistic transient response, and very low heat loss.
  • Bass Motion Control:
Speakers equipped with BMC allows it to handle the lowest audible frequencies without affecting the woofer stability, with extended linearity and better sound integrity.
  • Line array performance and coverage:
The vertically asymmetrical horn design accurately projects the sound energy and avoids unwanted reflections when placed on a sub or a speaker stand, without tilting the enclosure. This design also allows configuring two cascading NXL columns for optimal coverage.

Distortion Pedals

Distortion pedals create a heavier, more aggressive gain sound than most overdrive pedals, giving guitarists the sustain, bite and saturation needed for rock, punk, metal and hard-hitting lead tones. They can turn a clean amp into a high-gain platform or add an extra layer of intensity to an already driven sound.

Some distortion pedals are tight and modern, while others are raw, fizzy or vintage-inspired. Choosing the right one depends on whether you want chunky rhythm tones, singing sustain, scooped metal sounds or a classic hard-rock voice with plenty of attack.

Guitar Pedals

Guitar Pedals is a useful category for players looking to shape their guitar or bass sound in a more focused way. Products in this area can help with tone, control, routing, performance or creative sound design depending on the exact type of gear involved.

For anyone building a pedalboard, guitar pedals options can help fill a specific gap in the signal chain or open up new sounds that are difficult to achieve with an amp alone. They are worth exploring when you want a more personal, flexible and practical setup.

Distortion

Distortion pedals and related effects are commonly used by guitarists looking to shape their tone in a more focused and creative way. Different designs offer their own response, feel and tonal character depending on the style of music and the type of amplifier or guitar being used.

Many players build pedalboards gradually over time, combining different effects and utilities to create a setup that suits their own sound and workflow. Distortion related gear can play an important role in both live performance and studio recording.
