The Mooer MBEF1 Sweeper Envelope Filter Bass Pedal is part of Mooers Micro Series of tiny and compact pedals that can easily fit onto even the busiest pedalboards yet they are packed with a whole range of quality features. The Sweeper Bass pedal is designed to work well with both bass and electric guitars with its dynamic envelope filter for achieving unique effects. The Mooer Sweepers controls include an Intensity knob Resonance knob a Range knob and a Mode Switch that lets you choose between Clean Mode and Fuzz Mode. When in Clean Mode the pedal produces unique vocal-like characteristics whereas in Fuzz Mode this enhances the effect with a vintage woolly fuzz tone. The Mooer MBEF1 features True Bypass which preserves the tone by eliminating any signal interference when the unit is not in use.

Wah & Filter Pedals

Wah effects sweep a resonant band-pass or related filter through the frequency spectrum, creating the vowel-like movement associated with the treadle. Envelope filters move automatically in response to picking level, while fixed and sequenced filters use other control sources. Sweep range, resonance, direction, sensitivity and input loading determine whether the response is vocal, percussive, smooth or sharply synthetic.

Tags

Bass

Voiced or equipped to retain low-frequency fundamentals and the higher headroom of a bass signal. Clean blends, crossovers and bass-specific filter ranges can preserve weight and articulation while the effected portion adds harmonics, movement or ambience.

True Bypass

Connects input directly to output through mechanical or relay switching when the effect is off, removing the active circuit from the audio path. It avoids buffer colour but leaves cable capacitance and switching design to influence high-frequency loss and possible switching noise.

Vocal

Designed for microphone-level signals and the frequency, dynamics and feedback behaviour of the human voice. Input gain, balanced connections, phantom power and pitch tracking may be provided so effects respond correctly before the signal reaches a mixer or PA.
