MOOER entered the music-gear market in 2010 with miniature guitar effects pedals, conceived by four music-and-technology enthusiasts in Shenzhen, China. The company later expanded into preamp pedals, amp modelling, impulse-response loaders and multi-effects, including the GE200 and RADAR IR Loader. JustPedals listings show the compact effects side of the range: Reecho digital delay, Green Mile overdrive, Liquid Phaser, Triangolo tremolo and Pure Boost. MOOER’s small enclosures are a design choice, not a guide to how much control a model offers; check its modes, switching and power needs individually.

Amp & Cab Sims

Amp and cab simulator pedals recreate the gain, frequency response and feel of an amplifier and speaker cabinet in a pedalboard-friendly format. They can feed an effects return, power amp, mixer, interface or headphones, depending on the model. Check whether cabinet filtering or impulse responses are built in, whether they can be bypassed, and whether the output is intended for a real guitar cabinet or a direct system. Gain staging remains important when combining them with other drives.

Amp is a broad catalogue label for amplifier-related products, amp voices and compact amplifier solutions. The products may include amp-style pedals, practice amplifiers, headphone outputs or direct rigs, so the tag does not describe one circuit by itself. Check whether the unit is meant to drive a speaker, feed an effects return, simulate an amplifier into a mixer or provide a headphone output, and follow the specified load and routing.

IR Loader

Convolves the signal with an impulse response, a captured measurement of a cabinet, speaker, microphone, room or other linear system. File length, sample rate, latency, storage and routing determine the detail of the captured response and how flexibly it can be combined.

Multi-effects products combine several processing blocks, such as drive, modulation, delay, reverb, pitch and amp modelling, in one unit. The available effects list is only part of the decision: compare simultaneous blocks, signal path, preset and scene recall, footswitch assignments, expression, MIDI, USB, latency and direct outputs. A compact unit can suit travel or backup, while a larger model may act as the centre of a complete amplifier or recording setup.
