The Electro-Harmonix Pitch Fork+ is the ultimate polyphonic pitch shifter pedal, letting you harmonise to your heart’s content! Featuring two independent pitch-shifting engines with full control over each, both will transpose your pitch up or down over a +/- three octave range and detune +/-99 cents.

With rock-solid tracking, an organic tone and extensive control — it’s the ultimate harmoniser for your pedalboard! Additional features include: two outputs for multiple routing options, 10 unique factory presets (plus the ability to easily save/recall 100 programs), an expression pedal input for control over various parameters and an included power supply.

Features

  • Dedicated volume controls for both Shift voices and the Dry signal
  • Two outputs, Main and Aux, with multiple routing options
  • 10 unique factory presets plus the ability to easily save/recall 100 programs
  • A Bypass footswitch that toggles between effect on and buffered bypass. In latch mode it switches between effect and bypass mode. In Momentary mode the effect is on when the FS is held down and the pedal enters bypass when it’s released
  • A User footswitch that’s programmable and can be assigned to a variety of functions such as muting either Shift voice or jumping to a preset program. It features a dedicated LED
  • An EXP input for EXP or CV control over a broad selection of parameters in three sub-menus: Frequency, Glissando and Volume
  • An EXT input for connecting an external foot controller like EHX’s Triple Foot Controller which enables players to change modes, enter/exit sub-menus and load presets
  • Eight modes including X-MOD which features cross modulation that creates FM and ring mod type effects and LATCH which provides enhanced Latch and Momentary functionality
  • Power adapter included

Electro Harmonix

In the current JustPedals catalogue, Electro Harmonix is represented by Fuzz Pedals, Overdrive Pedals and Octave Pedals. Current listings include Q-Tron+, Nano Clone and V256 Vocoder. That makes the range relevant to players looking for drive, gain and clipping, plus time-based effects and ambience. Check each model for its exact circuit or processing platform, controls, power requirements and connections, particularly where the catalogue includes both pedals and supporting gear.

Category

Pitch & Harmoniser Pedals

Pitch and harmoniser pedals detect the input and generate shifted or harmonised voices above or below it. They can create fixed intervals, intelligent harmony, detuning, octave effects or momentary pitch changes, but tracking depends on the source, register and playing clarity. Polyphonic processing handles chords differently from monophonic designs, and latency may be more noticeable with complex settings. Check key or scale controls, dry and wet routing, expression or MIDI options and the instrument range before choosing one for live use.

Buffered Bypass

Buffered bypass keeps an active buffer in the signal path when the effect is bypassed. This can help drive long cable runs and high-capacitance boards, but the buffer’s input and output loading may also change the feel or frequency response. It is not the same as true bypass. Check the buffer behaviour, output impedance, placement around fuzz and the number of other buffers already in the chain before deciding whether it suits the rig.

Presets

Preset-capable products can store and recall effect settings, signal paths or control assignments. The useful differences are the number of locations, whether footswitches or MIDI can recall them, what parameters are saved, how quickly they change and whether trails continue between settings. Check editing, backup, firmware, expression and USB requirements, and confirm that the preset system covers the parameters you need rather than assuming every control is recalled.

Vocal

Vocal products process a microphone signal with harmony, reverb, delay, doubling, pitch correction, distortion or tone shaping. Microphone type, phantom-power handling, input gain, footswitch control and balanced output are as important as the effect list. Check key or scale settings, monitoring, feedback control, dry-signal routing and the intended PA or interface connection before using a vocal effect on stage.
