Generally accepted as the ultimate tone-chasers’ go-to overdrive combination, the Ethane is Brownes heavily tweaked and modified take on the Bluesbreaker/Tube Screamer amalgamation, offering an uncompromised vocal-like tone, powerful dynamics and an overall feel that keeps you coming back for more. The first edition of this pedal came in a Black Silver Vein finish; the current version features an ‘Aqua Copper Vein’ enclosure. Delish!
