The EarthQuaker Devices Tentacle V2 Octave Up is a stripped-back version of the popular Hoof Reaper Fuzz pedal. This model is a standalone version of the octave up effect that is produced from the original model. Thanks to this you are provided with the potential to pair the Tentacle V2 with a fuzz pedal for the classic wailing tones of Jimi Hendrix and make your guitar really stand out in the mix. However this pedal doesnt have to be paired and still produces an incredible sound when used independently. The V2 iteration includes a new Flexi Switch which allows both traditional latching operation and a momentary mode. Its momentary mode is perfect for adding intermittent octave-above effects to really make your solos and riffs pop out of your amplifier.
