Undoubtedly one of the most reliable bits of kit you could incorporate into your guitar pedal setup. The Strymon Ojai R30 is a versatile, future-proofed power supply from one of the most technologically advanced pedal manufacturers in the business.

Built to the highest standards with quality electronics, the R30 not only powers your pedals with trustworthy reliability, but also eliminates ground loop and AC line hum sounds for the cleanest tone.

Key Features

  • 5 Seperately Powered Sockets – 5 individual custom transformers (one per channel) deliver clean, consistent power.
  • 2 Switchable Sockets – Switch between 9V, 12V or 18V on two of the sockets to be able to power more hungry pedals.
  • Tour Without Power Constraints – Worldwide power compatibility ensures no-hassle international touring.
  • Fits Under Most Pedalboards – The R30 can be mounted under most pedalboards thanks to its low profile design.
  • Rugged, Stylish Design – Lightweight and rugged anodized midnight blue aluminum chassis.

Premium Variable Power

Run up to five guitar pedals on pure, isolated power eliminating ground loop and AC line hum. The Ojai uses premium analogue circuitry and components, ensuring reliable power wherever you are in the world – regardless of 120V, 240V, 100V or other voltage variations. Do your pedals require 9V, 12V or 18V? Strymon also have that covered with two switchable sockets.

Future Proof Expansion

As your pedalboard grows, your PSU needs to keep up. The Ojai contains a 24V thru jack to expand with another R30 unit or Strymon Zuma power supply. Integration into your current setup is simple.

Fits Under Flat Pedaltrain Pedalboards

The Strymon Ojai R30 is a little bit thinner than the regular Strymon Ojai, and fits on the underside of flat Pedaltrain pedalboards such as the Pedaltrain Nano & Nano+.

Pedal Power Supplies

A pedal power supply converts mains or battery power into the regulated DC outputs required by an effects board. True isolated outputs break ground paths and reduce interaction between pedals, while daisy chains share a common supply. Each output must match voltage, polarity and current demand; switchable voltages, high-current sockets, IEC or external adapters and mounting dimensions affect compatibility.

Analogue

The signal is shaped by continuously varying electronic circuitry rather than being converted into a digital effect algorithm. Component choice, operating voltage and circuit tolerances influence headroom, noise, clipping texture and the small variations in response between designs.

DIY Kit

Supplied as components and hardware to be assembled into a working pedal. Circuit complexity, board layout, enclosure preparation and off-board wiring set the difficulty, while accurate component values, polarity and solder joints determine the final noise, reliability and sound.
