Want a super-affordable pedal that can help you to precisely tweak and tailor your tone to perfection? The Landlord FX Knees Up EQ might be the secret weapon that your rig needs! Designed to easily squeeze onto any pedalboard thanks to its practical, mini-sized enclosure — the Knees Up is a no-brainer for the fastidious tone-chaser on a budget.

Flexible 5-Band EQ

An EQ pedal allows you to really sculpt your guitar sound, as you can cut or boost certain frequencies in your signal. The Knees Up offers five frequency bands — 100Hz, 250Hz, 630Hz, 1.6kHz and 4kHz — which can be boosted or cut by up to 18dB of adjustable gain. For a pedal of its size, five EQ bands will give you plenty to play around with and the unit can therefore be used in a variety of ways. For example, cut the mids to achieve a scooped metal tone, boost the lows to fatten up a thin-sounding amp, or pump the mids and highs to make your big solo cut through in the mix. The convenient master volume control can also serve as an overall level boost!

Easy To Add To Your Setup

The Landlord FX Knees Up’s ultra-compact footprint makes it easy to fit the stompbox into any vacant crevice on your pedalboard! And while it doesn’t take batteries, its 9V power requirements and low current draw allow you to power the Knees Up from practically any standard pedal PSU.

EQ Pedals

Equalisation changes the level of selected frequency regions without intentionally adding modulation or time-based effects. Graphic EQ divides the spectrum into fixed bands, parametric EQ allows frequency and bandwidth to move, and simpler designs provide broad bass, middle and treble shaping. Available boost or cut, centre frequencies, filter width and overall output level determine whether the pedal makes corrective, tonal or gain-driving changes.
