The Fulltone 2B booster pedal looks to be the answer to a lot of players prayers. This small pedal is a beautiful clean boost that doesn’t suffer the same high range issues you sometimes see with other boosts at high volumes. This pedal is perfect for any style and deserves its place on everyones pedalboard.

Simple and Small

A boost pedal is a simple thing and because of that you just want simple controls. That is why the B2 just has Gain and Dynamic controls not only keeping the pedal small but also keeping set up time short. The gain control is as you would expect a volume / gain control in one. As you increase this control you increase the volume of your signal which on a clean channel will stay clean but with overdrive will push your amp hard for a bit of extra sustain.

Must Have Pedal

A decent boost pedal is a must have for any guitarist. Not only are they great for when you need that extra sustain and volume for solos but they also let you add a little bit of colour to your sound with minimal gain increase. THis pedal in particular has a beautiful warm preamp taken from the Fulltone Supa-Trem 1, Supa-Trem 2 and True-Path ABY. Nothing else quite feels like this pedal running through your amp, whatever your style is this pedal will have its uses.

Here’s what Fulltone say about the 2B Booster Pedal

It’s the answer to all your Boosting needs. Simple, Stout, and built like a brick poophouse.

Tone-neutral, but devoid of the strident treble issues that other boosters bring out when used in high-volume situations. Born from the warm preamp used in the Fulltone Supa-Trem1 and Supa-Trem2, and True-Path ABY pedals with an added Germanium diode Limiter circuit that tightens up the low end and helps you pop out in the mix.

It’s REALLY SMALL to-boot… only 4.5″ x 2.1″ x 2.3″ with battery tucked tightly inside! A space-saving bonus are the rear-mounted jacks.

Aby

An ABY pedal is one of those quiet essentials that unlocks a much bigger rig. It lets you send one guitar signal to two outputs, switch between two amps, or run both together for a wider, fuller sound. Whether you’re chasing stereo spread, running a wet/dry setup, or keeping a clean and driven amp on standby, an ABY puts proper routing control right at your feet.

It’s not about effects — it’s about options. Use it to swap between backline amps on stage, split your signal for recording, or blend two completely different tones into something richer and more dimensional. Simple, solid, and endlessly useful, an ABY is the kind of pedal you don’t think about — until you can’t imagine your board without it.

Boost

A boost pedal does one simple thing brilliantly — it makes your signal louder, stronger, and more alive. Whether you’re pushing a valve amp into natural breakup, lifting a solo above the band, or adding a touch more presence to your core tone, a clean boost gives you extra headroom without changing your character.

Use it at the front of your chain to drive other pedals harder, or after your gain stages to raise volume without adding distortion. Subtle or powerful, transparent or slightly coloured, a boost is one of the most useful tools on any pedalboard — small box, big difference.

New

This is brand new, fresh in, and a UK warranty is included. New Gear always comes from trusted UK music retailers.

Overdrive

Like a golden layer of melted cheese — warm, gooey, and just put it all over. It adds just the right amount of richness and grit, turning a clean signal into something smooth and savoury. Designed to mimic the natural breakup of a tube amp pushed to its sweet spot, overdrive delivers the flavour of classic rock and blues in every bite. From creamy mid-gain warmth to crisp edge-of-breakup sparkle, it’s the comfort food of guitar tone — simple, satisfying, and endlessly versatile. Whether it’s a mild crunch or a full-bodied roar, overdrive is where good taste begins.

Preamp

A preamp pedal shapes and boosts your guitar’s signal before it reaches your amp or recording interface, giving you control over tone, gain, and headroom. It acts as the first stage of amplification, adding warmth, clarity, and character while preparing your signal for the next part of the chain. Some preamps emulate the response of classic valve circuits, while others offer clean, transparent tone shaping ideal for acoustic instruments or direct recording setups.

Used on its own, a preamp pedal can serve as the foundation of your tone, providing a consistent core sound wherever you play. When combined with other effects, it enhances dynamics and helps each pedal sound more defined and natural. Whether you’re looking to push your amp harder, bring life to a dull signal, or refine your sound for the studio, a good preamp pedal adds presence, punch, and musicality to any rig.

used

Used pedals bring character, value, and often a bit of history to your board. Whether it’s a well-loved classic or a recent release looking for its next home, a used pedal offers the same core tone at a more accessible price. Fully tested and described clearly, it’s a chance to grab great gear without paying brand-new money.

Go used to explore different sounds, track down discontinued favourites, or build your setup more affordably. Sometimes a pedal with a few marks on the casing still delivers flawless tone — and might even have a story or two behind it.

Volume

Volume pedals control the output level of a guitar signal using a foot-operated treadle. They allow smooth volume swells, dynamic control during playing, and easy muting between songs. Volume pedals can be placed at different points in the signal chain to either control overall loudness or adjust gain and drive behaviour when positioned before distortion or overdrive pedals.
