New Technology, New Effects

Eventide’s H90 Harmonizer features modern ARM-based architecture derived from the world’s most powerful effects processor — the Eventide H9000 Harmonizer. This paves the way for the ongoing creation of more advanced effects processing techniques. As a result, the H90 pedal not only offers the iconic reverbs, delays, modulation, and pitch-shifting effects of the H9 Max, but goes far beyond with 10 new powerful algorithms including state-of-the-art, fast-tracking, and warble-free Polyphonic Pitch Shifting. Eventide’s proprietary SIFT (Spectral Instantaneous Frequency Tracking) technology clears the road ahead for next-gen effects both long imagined and unimaginable!

Nine new algorithms exploit the H90’s raw power:

  • Polyphony: Pitch shift chords with ease using SIFT technology. Create rising or sinking chorus and crystals-type effects. Use Freeze to generate pad textures.
  • Prism Shift: Generate three voices from a single chord whose intervals are separated, staggered, and pitch-shifted to create four arpeggio types spanning up to three octaves.
  • Even-Vibe: Authentic Uni-Vibe emulation reimagined in stereo with envelope followers.
  • Head Space: Vintage four-head Tape Delay with classic and modern creative tone-shaping controls for grit, spatiality, and character.
  • Bouquet Delay: Bucket Brigade Delay (BBD) with modulation, LoFi, and Modern flavors; includes Pitch jump and Self-oscillation performance functions.
  • Wormhole: A mega-sized hyper-modulated reverb with pitch warping performance.
  • Weedwacker: Two-stage, serial overdrive reminiscent of a famous green pedal.
  • Aggrevate: Aggravate is an octave fuzz inspired by famous classic analog octave fuzzes from the ’70s. Satisfy all your fuzz needs with its versatile controls and rich feature set.
  • Sticky Tape: Sticky Tape is a new tape algorithm based on the same emulation technology as the H90-exclusive, Head Space.

Three algorithms from Eventide’s acclaimed rackmount processors place these legendary effects at your feet:

  • Instant Phaser: Authentic emulation of the world’s first studio Phaser from 1971 notably used in Led Zeppelin’s “Kashmir.”
  • Instant Flanger: Authentic emulation of the world’s first studio Flanger heard on countless hit records.
  • SP2016 Reverb: The legendary Room, Stereo Room, and Hi-density plate from the original studio rackmount.

New algorithms from the Harmonizer+ Update:

  • VocalTune – Taking a page out of the iconic H910’s book, this delivers real-time pitch correction with precise scale quantization, pitch and format shaping, and built-in gate and compression for a polished, expressive vocal sound.
  • VocalShift – Again straight from Eventide’s cornerstone H910 comes a three-voice pitch shifter with independent pitch and formant control, intelligent scale recognition, and performance features like voice soloing, pitch glide and pitch hold.

That’s not all. All previous H9 Max algorithms have been enriched with features previously only available on the dot9 pedals and plug-ins. Others have been enhanced to take advantage of the new advanced pitch-shifting.

Multi Effects Pedals

Multi effects pedals combine several effect types in one unit, giving guitarists access to drives, modulation, delay, reverb, amp modelling and utility tools without needing a board full of separate pedals. They are a practical option for players who want flexibility and fast access to many sounds.

They are especially useful for covers bands, home recording, practice and players who are still discovering which effects they like best. A good multi effects unit can simplify your setup while still giving you a wide palette of tones for different songs and styles.

Pitch & Harmoniser Pedals

Octave, pitch and harmony pedals shift your guitar signal up or down to create extra notes, thicker textures and unusual musical effects. They can add a lower octave for heavier riffs, create twelve-string style shimmer, produce synth-like tones or generate harmonised lead lines.

These pedals are popular with experimental guitarists, bass players, solo performers and anyone wanting to make one instrument sound larger. Tracking quality, blend controls and polyphonic performance all affect how natural or extreme the final sound feels.
