Description

Dumbles are the mythical beasts of the amp world. They have the kind of tone that players chase for decades, and when you finally find one, you’d better be ready to remortgage the house. Original units routinely fetch six-figure prices, and that’s if you can even find one in the wild!
But now? You can slip that legendary Dumble magic straight into your gig bag. The limited‑edition IK Multimedia ToneX One Double Special packs the sound of two iconic Dumble amps from IK’s private vault into a mini pedal that literally fits in your pocket.
What’s inside?
The ToneX Double Special Collection was created by capturing two real-deal Dumbles — serial numbers #0038 and #0080. From those sessions, IK Multimedia made a whopping 40 Tone Models, including:

32 Amp + Cab and Complex Rig captures
8 Amp-only and Amp + Stomp Tone Models

And that’s not all. This limited-run ToneX One also comes pre-loaded with 20 exclusive additional Tone Models/Presets, taken from the very same capture session — and you won’t find them anywhere else.
Why Dumbles?
Hand-built in Los Angeles by Howard “Alexander” Dumble, these amps are the stuff of legend. Their touch sensitivity, harmonic richness and dynamic feel are unmatched, which is exactly why players like Robben Ford, Carlos Santana and Stevie Ray Vaughan swore by them.
Both amps were captured through 1×12” and 2×12” custom open-back cabs, with a warm, organic response and loaded with Celestion G12-65, Celestion JB85 and Electro-Voice EVM12L speakers.
Meticulous modelling
Every Tone Model was captured in a pro studio using industry standard mics, including the Shure SM57, Royer R‑121, Neumann U87 and Sennheiser e609. And to widen the tonal palette, IK even added some of the world’s most iconic drive pedals into the chain. We’re talking the Klon Centaur, Ibanez TS10 and JHS Morning Glory — giving you proper stacked lead tones and rich, expressive drive.Key Features
