Proudly taking place as the flagship model in Victory’s range of compact and lunchbox amps, the MKX takes the core essence of Victory’s top-of-the-line, MK Overdrive and offers it in a more compact format, at a price point that won’t bust the bank.

Drawing on Martin Kidd’s 30-plus years of experience as an amp designer, the MKX captures a flavour of many of his most beloved guitar tones, ranging from crystal cleans, raging overdrive, all the way to fully saturated high-gain modern distortion. Featuring 3 channels (Clean, Overdrive 1 and Overdrive 2) in addition to two unique reverb voices, as well as independent 3-band EQs for Clean and Overdrive channels on top of 2 footswitchable Master Volumes, the MKX is quite possibly Martin and Victory’s most versatile amp to date. Its tiny, fully-metal lunchbox-style enclosure is truly the icing on the cake, making the MKX one of the easiest amps to carry around, whether you’re on the road, on a plane, or simply travelling to rehearsals. With 50 watts of power (switchable down to 9 watts), an effects loop as well as Power Amp Resonance and Presence controls, the Victory MKX has every base covered for just about every type of electric guitar player and is the perfect amp for those after a British-made workhorse valve head that does it all.

Victory Amplification

Founded in 2013 by legendary amp designer/guru Martin Kidd, Victory Amplification has quickly established itself as one of the leading ‘boutique’ valve amp brands around the world. Played and used by many of the most prestigious and in-demand guitar players, spanning every genre from Rock to Jazz, Prog and Indie, there is a Victory amp to suit every type of player.

Drawing on inspiration from both classic and modern circuits, both American and British, as well as being meticulously hand-built in England from choice, hand-selected components, each amplifier is built for the many rigours of playing, whether it’s at home, on stage or in the studio.

Guitar Pedals

Guitar Pedals is a useful category for players looking to shape their guitar or bass sound in a more focused way. Products in this area can help with tone, control, routing, performance or creative sound design depending on the exact type of gear involved.

For anyone building a pedalboard, guitar pedals options can help fill a specific gap in the signal chain or open up new sounds that are difficult to achieve with an amp alone. They are worth exploring when you want a more personal, flexible and practical setup.

Overdrive Pedals

Overdrive pedals add warmth, grit and amplifier-like breakup to your guitar tone. They can be used as a light always-on tone enhancer, a bluesy crunch box, a mid-focused solo boost or a way to push a valve amp into richer saturation.

Different overdrive circuits have very different personalities, from transparent low-gain pedals to classic mid-hump designs and heavier modern drives. They are one of the most important pedal types because they respond to picking dynamics, guitar volume and the character of your amplifier.

Guitar Pedal

Guitar Pedal pedals and related effects are commonly used by guitarists looking to shape their tone in a more focused and creative way. Different designs offer their own response, feel and tonal character depending on the style of music and the type of amplifier or guitar being used.

Many players build pedalboards gradually over time, combining different effects and utilities to create a setup that suits their own sound and workflow. Guitar Pedal related gear can play an important role in both live performance and studio recording.

Overdrive

Overdrive pedals recreate the sound of an amplifier being pushed harder, adding warmth, breakup and sustain while still responding naturally to picking dynamics and guitar volume changes. They are one of the most important and widely used pedal types in modern guitar rigs.

Different overdrive circuits offer very different flavours, from transparent low-gain boost-style pedals through to mid-focused classic rock tones and heavier amp-like saturation.
