Experience massive, musical laser sweeps without the creative friction of complex controls. While some traditional PLL-style circuits can become unusable or “too crazy” to fit into a real-world mix, ION takes a different route. By utilising a sophisticated optical filter network, we’ve created a circuit that is always recognisable and consistently musical—delivering searing frequency sweeps that enhance your playing rather than burying it.
Immediately Inspirational.
Ideas come and go quickly. We designed ION for the player who wants to stay in the creative flow. In a world of complex menu-diving and knob option-paralysis, ION removes the guesswork with a streamlined, plug-and-play interface. It features hyper-accurate tracking that transforms pick scrapes and heavy attack into soaring, resonant “space laser” bursts that react to your touch in real-time.

Three Modes of Cosmic Flight
The Mode toggle adjusts the responsiveness of the optical filter, allowing you to sculpt your fuzz from a foundational sub-octave to a high-frequency sizzle:

UP: High-frequency resonance; maximum filter sensitivity for sizzling, cosmic lift-off.
MIDDLE: Balanced sensitivity; searing sweeps that track and interact energetically with your picking dynamics.
DOWN: Sub-octave square wave grit; ION’s most “traditional” mode, allowing the raw octave-down tone to shine.
Key Features
PLL-Style, Pocket-Sized Laser Fuzz: All the searing character of a Phase Lock Loop, streamlined and dialled in.
Dynamic Optical Tracking: Real-time tracking that transforms pick scrapes and playing dynamics into soaring, interstellar frequency sweeps and fun laser bursts.

Founded by Alex Guaraldi in 2016, Coppersound Pedals has quickly gained recognition for its innovative designs, attention to detail, and commitment to quality craftsmanship.

One of Coppersound Pedals’ most notable creations is the Telegraph Stutter, a unique effects pedal designed to emulate the sound of a telegraph key. In addition to the Telegraph Stutter, Coppersound Pedals offers a range of other effects pedals, including overdrive, distortion, modulation, and delay pedals. Each pedal is meticulously handcrafted using high-quality components and features intuitive controls, allowing musicians to easily dial in their desired tones.

Fuzz

A fuzz pedal is one of the earliest and most aggressive forms of distortion, turning your clean guitar signal into a thick, saturated wall of sound. It works by clipping the waveform almost flat, creating a compressed, gritty tone full of harmonic overtones. The result is raw, unruly, and unmistakable — from the sputtering breakup of vintage germanium circuits to the searing sustain of modern silicon designs. Fuzz pedals react strongly to your guitar’s volume and pickup choice, making them dynamic tools for expressive players.

Whether you’re chasing the classic tones of Hendrix and the Smashing Pumpkins or exploring heavy, experimental textures, fuzz remains a favourite for its personality and unpredictability. It can sound smooth and sustaining, or wild and velcro-like, depending on how it’s set up. A good fuzz pedal cuts through the mix while adding thickness and attitude, turning any riff or lead line into something bold and unmistakably alive.
